Growing up in Florida for a portion of my life, I was interested in the contrast between coastal life and urban environments, particularly how fashion varies between the two. The differences between the coastal towns of the East Coast and the city's concrete landscape sparked my curiosity. This collection allowed me to design for a market outside the urban environments I'm most familiar with. Inspired by coastal towns with a strong sailing culture, I've embraced a more luxurious aesthetic, stepping away from my usual street inspired designs. As always films are a major influence in my designs, with nautical-themed movies like Steven Spielberg's Jaws and John Carpenter's The Fog serving as key inspirations for this collection. These films highlighted the unique fashion of quaint coastal living in an era which I tend to prefer.
